The Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Grand Tour started on May 8, with a convoy of 350 supercars from all over the world. Owners and enthusiasts from 29 countries congregated at Piazza Castello in Milan for the start of the tour. Touted as the largest gathering ever of cars from the ‘House of the Raging Bull’, the fleet spans to approximately 4km long and has a combined potency of about 190,000 hp.

The Raging Bull armada includes three 350 GTs, five 400 GTs, 17 Miuras, eight Espadas, two Jaramas, six Urracos, 15 Countachs, one LM 002, 21 Diablos, 36 Murcielagos and 123 Gallardos.

Speaking about Lamborghini’s legacy, Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said,

“For 50 years, Lamborghini has been the object of dreams and the symbol of Made in Italy. Our supersports cars are always on the edge of the most advanced technological innovation and for this reason the claim that we have set for our anniversary is ‘100 years of innovation in half the time’. Since our founder Ferruccio Lamborghini first founded the company, a characteristic inherent in our DNA is to address the challenge and not overcome it, but to push boundaries to achieve something even more extraordinary,”

Sure, Sony PSPs are pretty cool and fun. So are X-Box 360s, and Sony Play Stations, and a plethora of state-of-the-art personal computers. If we were hypothetically playing poker with someone who shows us their hand with PSPs, X-Boxes, Play Stations, and ridiculously supercharged PCs, we will smile and reveal a Full Size F1 Racing Car Simulator.

We would hypothetically win too. The Full Size F1 Racing Car Simulator by FMCG International is probably the best gaming device on the market. Built to look exactly like an actual, full-scale Formula 1 car, it even has a replica cockpit – yes, that is indeed where you will sit. Calling all well-heeled soccer fans, Audemars Piguet collectors and the philanthropically inclined – Audemars Piguet is offering you a shot at the special edition for living legend Leo Messi (pictured above, wearing the watch). Handled by auction house Sotheby’s, the Royal Oak Chronograph Leo Messi Limited Edition, in platinum, goes under the proverbial hammer May 11, 2013 in Geneva. This version comes with a rubber strap (for the first time), an autographed t-shirt and the original sketch of the watch (signed by Messi and Audemars Piguet Chief Artistic Officer Octavio Garcia). The winning bidder is also entitled to watch a Barcelona game and to meet Messi in person.

If you happen to be in Hong Kong up to April 8, 2013, Sotheby’s is showing the watch, numbered 10 of 100, at its local offices; Messi uses ‘10’ on both his national Argentina jersey and on his Barcelona club jersey. The watch moves to the Sotheby’s offices in Zurich (May 2-3) and then Geneva (May 9-10). No word yet on the estimate for the watch but proceeds from the sale of Lot 110 (of course!) will be donated entirely to the Leo Messi Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children battle cancer and Chagas disease, to name just two important projects.

Revealed to the world at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, this is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built, with the power of 624 horses pouring forth from its twin-turbo 6.6 liter V12. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös comments: “Wraith is the car we believe our great founding forefather and adventurer the Honourable Charles Rolls would have chosen to drive were he alive today.”

LaFerrari, the new limited-edition special series car from the Prancing Horse, has been unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show 2013. The HY-KERS system and a carbon-fibre chassis are just two of the innovations sported by the new arrival.

Here’s a peek at Mercedes-Benz’s new 2014 C63 AMG Edition 507, which takes its current incarnation and ramps up output by another 56 hp to a very respectable 507.

This power upgrade has been achieved by borrowing from the guts of the manufacture’s own SLS AMG gull-wing coupe: the 2014 C63 AMG Edition 507 boasts the SLS engine’s connecting rods, crankshaft, forged pistons and sturdy composite brake system.

The result: the new C63 AMG goes from zero-to-60 in 4.1 seconds, down from 4.4 seconds, maxing out at a hair-whipping 174 mph (Mercedes-Benz says need-for-speeders will have to attend a mandatory course at its AMG Driving Academy to achieve that top speed.)

Exterior-wise, the Edition 507′s design tweaks echo the lines seen on the existing C63 AMG coupe Black Series. A handsome aluminum hood with heat extractor vents is especially noteworthy, as are the car’s light-alloy 19-inch wheels in titanium gray or matte black, exclusive to the Edition 507. The lip spoiler, mirrored housings and grille, all in glossy black, offer a swanky finishing touch to the outside.

Venture into the cabin and you’ll see all of the signature Mercedes-Benz trappings, including plush leather fittings in three colour choises, black trimmings and an Alcantara AMG steering wheel.

The C63 AMG Edition 507 will be offered in coupe and sedan form and is scheduled to make its world debut on March 5 at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Pricing plans will be announced closer to production date

Makers and purveyors of fine single malt scotch The Macallan pairs up again with French crystalmakers Lalique to deliver something called The Macallan Perfect Serve. Available exclusively in Singapore in a limited edition of just 20 sets, The Macallan Perfect Serve includes a bottle of The Macallan 25 Years Old Sherry Oak and two hand-crafted Lalique crystal Rose Tumblers.

If you are a connoisseur of scotch then the virtues of The Macallan’s sherry cask single malts will be well known to you. Expect all manner of sherry notes with this and spicy sweetness, basically. As for the Lalique Rose Tumblers, well these exhibit fine detailing work in the combination of frosted and smooth surfaces. Automobile fans are of course aware that the existing Rapide was, as its name suggests, one of the zippiest four-door sportscars around, but the 2014 S version ups the ante by eking out 550 hp – that’s 80 more that its predecessor.
